A few miles to the south are the beaches of Selsey and the Witterings. To the west lies Chichester Harbour with its marinas and sailing opportunities. Chichester Golf Centre offers two 18 hole courses and a 9 hole par 3 course - the attractive fairways surround Hunston Mill.
A few minutes drive will take you to Pagham Harbour Nature Reserve which covers a large area well known to birdwatchers and which provides attractive and interesting walks.
Within easy reach are Portsmouth, Arundel, Goodwood and the Downs. There are leaflets in all the cottages giving further information on these and the many other interesting places to visit during your stay.
